Where as the last year a total of 611739 students qualified the exam. In the top 25 scorers, there were 9 girls and 16 boys. Also, Navdeep Singh from Punjab bagged 1st position with 99.99 percentile. This year, Kalpana Kumari has obtained the All India Rank 1 in NEET UG 2018 with 99.99 percentile. She has obtained 171 out of 180 in physics, 160 out of 180 in Chemistry, 360 out of 360 in Biology (Biology and Zoology). Overall her score is 691 out of 720.

NEET2018  was held in 11 languages  such as Hindi, English, Gujarati, Marathi, Oriya, Bengali, Assamese, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Urdu. The registered candidates are 13,26,725 whereas male candidates 5,80,648, female candidates are 7,46,076 and 01 transgender.Foreigners are 621 and NRI are 1842.
