NEETCounselling 2018: Check the details of NEET Counselling starts from June 13th, 2018

MCC ( Medical Counseling Committee) has released the schedule for NEET counseling 2018 in their official website mcc.nic.in. As per the notice, 15% all India quota (AIQ) will be held from June 13 to June 18, 2018 through the six day first round counseling.July 6- July 8 is the  time of NEET 2nd round counseling.Students can pay till 19th June for the First round counseling and the payment facility will be opened till July 9th (up to 12:00 noon). Download counseling details here  MCC will organize the mop- up round from August 12th , 2018 after scheduling/completing the two round counseling. NEET2018: Medical Seat Blocking going to be tough from this year

  As per the news published on TOI, a penalty up to Rs 2 lakhs will be charged on medical aspirants who are blocking seats for centralized NEET counselling. It is a penalty fee and this amount will not get refunded back. Even the candidates who are blocking seats for centralized NEET counselling even from participating in counselling further. The idea generates for reducing the vacancies which were created due to blocking of multiple seats by students. The ministry with the approval of MCI has proposed a ‘refundable ‘amount fee of 2 lakhs  where it will be adjusted against the tuition fee if the student accepts the allotted seats. It is good to know that the fee of Government seats is for 25,000/- whereas fee of private or deemed colleges is Rs/-2 lakhs. Though it is yet to be decided such students will be penalized on what stage of admission procedure!
