Admissions to all Ayurveda , Yoga and Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha and Homoeopathy ( AYUSH ) undergraduate courses across all states will be through NEET from 2018 onward, a notification on the official website of the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (CET) was confirmed.Now the high court raises a question to supreme court on Tuesday regarding the importance of NEET result to get admitted into Ayush course.   As per the news published on TOI, a penalty up to Rs 2 lakhs will be charged on medical aspirants who are blocking seats for centralized NEET counselling. It is a penalty fee and this amount will not get refunded back. Even the candidates who are blocking seats for centralized NEET counselling even from participating in counselling further. The idea generates for reducing the vacancies which were created due to blocking of multiple seats by students. The ministry with the approval of MCI has proposed a ‘refundable ‘amount fee of 2 lakhs  where it will be adjusted against the tuition fee if the student accepts the allotted seats. It is good to know that the fee of Government seats is for 25,000/- whereas fee of private or deemed colleges is Rs/-2 lakhs.
